Carrying on the Tradition of Veterinary
Medicine in Elmvale Since 1887

Ken Storimans, B.Sc. DVM                  Andrea Alfred, B.Sc. DVM

The Elmvale Veterinary Hospital (EVH) is a small animal veterinary clinic located in the village of Elmvale, Ontario. Our veterinary team consists of Dr. Ken Storimans and Dr. Andrea Alfred assisted by veterinary technicians Chris Slik and Jessica Schacherl. Our front desk staff includes Leanne Lambie, Jessica Storimans and Kim Berry. We provide small animal veterinary care to the Southern Georgian Bay area of Simcoe County including Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Midland and Penetanguishene.

The EVH's history dates back over 60 years to the 1940's when Dr. William Brack opened up the clinic on County Road 92 near the Old Elmvale Sales Barn. In 1953, Dr. John Windrem and his wife Gladys took over the clinic. From 1953 to 1988, they ran their business and raised their three children, becoming well known and respected members of the community. Their practice started as predominately large animal based, but as the demand for small animals increased, so did the dynamics of the clinic. In 1967, Dr. Windrem moved the Elmvale Veterinary Hospital to its current location at 69 Yonge Street South. Dr. Ken Storimans purchased the clinic in 1988.

The Elmvale Veterinary Hospital is accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) as a small animal hospital and small animal mobile service. Our clinic offers medical, surgical and dental facilities for your pets. We offer grooming services by appointment and sell a variety of prescription pet foods, pet supplies and pet products.
