Elmvale Veterinary Hospital is a small animal veterinary hospital located in the village of Elmvale, Ontario. Our team consists of Dr. Ken Storimans and Dr. Andrea Alfred, assisted by registered veterinary technicians, Amanda, Jody, Sam and Logan. We provide veterinary care to the Southern Georgian Bay area of Simcoe County including Springwater, Tiny, Tay, Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Midland and Penetanguishene.

The history of the clinic dates back over 70 years to the 1940's when Dr. William Brack opened up a veterinary service on County Road 92 near the Old Elmvale Sales Barn. In 1953, Dr. John Windrem purchased the business and building from Dr Brack. From 1953 to 1988 Dr Windrem ran a busy mixed animal practice in Elmvale. The practice started as predominantly large animal based, but over the years the demand for small animal services increased. In 1967, Dr. Windrem moved the Elmvale Veterinary Hospital to its current location at 69 Yonge Street South. Dr. Ken Storimans purchased the clinic in 1988. In 1990 the clinic became a 100% small animal facility.

The Elmvale Veterinary Hospital is accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) as a small animal hospital and small animal mobile service. Our clinic offers medical, surgical and dental facilities for your pets. We offer all services by appointment and sell a variety of prescription pet foods, pet supplies and pet products.
