COVID-19 Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2022

Dear Clients,

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, please review our new policies:

1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!

2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.

  • Only one customer is allowed inside at a time per pet. The only exception to this policy is for euthanasia appointments when a maximum of two clients per pet may be allowed inside.
  • Masks are recommended when in an exam room and when in clinic for product pickups or sample drop-offs
  • Curbside pick-up of food and medications will continue if needed.
  • Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.

3. NEW PET OWNERS

Have you welcomed a new pet to your home? Visit our Must Know New Pet Owner Information page for useful resources and helpful recommendations for new pet owners.

We are still experiencing delays in service due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and the province-wide veterinarian shortage. The pandemic has caused an increase in the number of cases that we are seeing and despite increasing our staffing levels and hours we are not able to see all clients that wish for an appointment. In addition, all procedures take longer to complete due to the required steps to keep staff and clients safe. We appreciate the patience and understanding from our clients during the pandemic. From time to time we may have no choice but to refer customers to the Huronia Emergency Clinic in Barrie.
