Routine Surgery

Most routine surgeries allow for your pet to go home the same day – except for feline declaws which stay in hospital for 2 nights.  At Elmvale Veterinary Hospital, we offer spays and neuters for dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits.  Surgeries take place in the morning, and we’re open at 7:30 a.m. for an early drop-off.

We recommend intravenous fluids and pre-surgical blood work for all our routine surgeries.
